John Lorence started Fleet Refinishing Works, a truck refinishing business, in 1975. This led to some of those trucks needing lettering or graphics. His daughter, Sarah, started working here in high school. After graduating from Davenport University with a business degree in 1999, she started managing the graphics department. Over the years the occasional truck turned into other lettering, then signs, and we have been operating as a full service sign shop for some time now.
With the graphics work expanding and the graphics team growing, it was finally time for our own name. Since the name "Fleet" encompasses what we do, and we are still affiliated with the original "Fleet", we took that and became "Fleet Graphics of Michigan". We love taking your logo and melding it with copy to create unique signs for your business.
