Stamford signs is a second generation sign company founded in 1957. The company originated as DeVito Signs and was acquired by Joseph Morabito Sr. as a one man sign shop on Pacific street in Stamford in 1957. Upon Joe's retirement in 1984, Mike Morabito took over as president and owner of Stamford Signs later merging with and acquiring other area sign companies to form "Stamford Signs and Graphics, Inc".
