A-1 Engraving & Signs started off as a dream of entrepreneur Phil Boltach.
Phil saw an unmet need of equipment labeling and signage so he decided to cash in his retirement and start his own business.
In 1989, Phil opened up for business in the garage of his residence and the first years were scarce.
After a few humble years, the business grew by word of mouth, hard work, and two great employees - Geoff Boltach & Trevor McElroy.
In 2000, the business expanded to a 30' x 40' pole barn on the same premises and continued to grow in the subsequent years.
