Through research and education, SFI is working to protect the fundamental right to display signage that is readable and conspicuous in the commercial environment. In recent years, significant progress has been made in developing solid, peer-reviewed research and a knowledge base that enable SFI and the signage industry to engage in meaningful discussions within all constituencies about mutual areas of concern.

As such, the Foundation works with various constituencies to encourage maximally beneficial use of signage including the recognition that the sign becomes a transferable real estate asset that must be protected.
