Neon Williams
Neon Williams is one of the oldest and most established neon sign shops in America having made tens of thousands of neon signs since 1934. From spectaculars like the Citgo Sign and the Paramount Theater to small window signs, you'll find our work lighting up all of New England and beyond. Our services include neon design, fabrication, repair, rentals, consulting, and buying.
Services
Our roots go all the way back to 1934.
In the midst of the Great Depression, Wally Croft established the W. M. Croft "Long Life Neon Tube" Company at 91 Broadway in Cambridge, Mass and charged a whole $1.00 for repairs.
In 1946, a young Charlie Williams got a golden opportunity over at Jack Freeman Sign Supply in South Boston.
Charlie worked in shipping, but on his lunch breaks learned how to repair broken neon signs.
In a short time, he became their regular repairman.
Twenty years later, we find Charlie at the University Brink Sign Company, bending miles of glass tubing for Boston's iconic Citgo Sign.
From spectaculars like the Citgo Sign and the Paramount Theater to small window signs, you'll find our work lighting up all of New England and beyond.
Want to make a statement?
A neon sign of your design or ours will get attention!
Let us work out the details with you and deliver a product you'll enjoy for many many years.
Neon Williams works with sign companies, designers, architects and just about anyone drawn to that unmistakable glow.
We love to design and create custom neon!
Our neon is real glass tubing, not imitation LED.
We heat and bend the glass over flame in a hand-crafted process that remains unchanged since its invention.
Our average turn around time is three weeks, though we can accommodate tighter deadlines in some cases.
