Custom Banner
Tony Parker and Clay Prewitt teamed up to purchase the assets of Cormier Textiles from Ken Cormier in 2001. Cormier Textile produced banner blanks for the Sign Industry and a variety of woven polyethylene products including pool and boat covers as well as other industrial product applications such as landfill covers, turbidity curtains, disaster relief tarps (for US Aid) and other construction industry products.

The production of theses types of industrial products required us to become experts at heatsealing a variety of materials. Many of these products ended up going overseas for production. Our focus shifted to the Sign Industry so we changed our name to Custom Banner. In 2003 we added dye sublimation to our print offering to allow us to custom dye fabric banners, flags, table skirts, and trade show backdrops.

This process allows graphic professionals to have us custom print one unit or thousands efficiently. In 2015 we purchased the assets of McCullough Banner in Strasburg, PA from Jim & Sharon McCullough as they prepared for retirement.
Services
Dye Sublimation is a process used to dye your custom artwork into fabrics for banners, flags and much more.
We print the image digitally on a heat resistant transfer paper and then take that printed paper to a roll-to-roll heat press to transfer the image onto the chosen fabric.
Check out the 18 foot by 18 foot fabric "stage backdrop" we recently produced.
There are three horizontal heatsealed seams.

There are important advantages to products printed with the dye sublimation process.
Send us your custom artwork and we can digitally print it on a variety of mediums.
These include several different types of vinyl, vinyl mesh, a variety of adhesive vinyls, and more.
Whether one custom unit or thousands, single-sided or two-sided, we are your source.

Double-sided "boulevard banners" as well as "over-the-street banners" have become a very significant part of the Custom Banner business.
Whether printing on two pieces of 18 oz opaque vinyl sewn back-to-back or on both sides of one piece of Ultraflex Pole Banner material, we are your source.
We have been providing custom finishing services to screen and digital printers for many years.
These services include hemming, grommeting, heatsealing, slitting and sheeting.
Our Rosenthal Sheeter can slit to width and cut to length in one operation.
Our Smart Slitter can slit vinyl and fabric rolls to the most efficient widths for finishing purposes.
Our 40 ft Bar Sealer heatseals printed and unprinted vinyl and fabric materials together.
This allows Sign Shops to offer their in-house printing service even when their printer width is less than that required for the job.
Many banners are hung by the "retailer" rather than the sign shop.
This can hurt the effectiveness of this advertising medium.
If a retailer does not get a significant response from these banners, why would they put up another?
We are missing out on opportunity to become more valuable to our customers.
Developing an advertising/deployment strategy for banners and flags for our customers would be a valuable way to attract attention to their products & services.
Given that people are creatures of habit, they become oblivious to the "same" in their daily routines.
All of our flags are dye sublimated on an outdoor fabric.
The life expectancy of flags can vary significantly based on several factors.
First and foremost is "mother nature".
Heavy winds will cause the unattached end of the flag to "whip" which serves to essentially beat itself up.
The intensity and duration of these winds will reduce the longevity of the flag.
The sun and rain also serve to degrade the fabric while at the same time fading the image.
We recommend taking flags in at night and during stormy weather.
